About you

You’re entrepreneurial, visionary and a high-performer. You have 1-2 years experience, are passionate about startups and more specifically about establishing London as a hub for Cyber Security startups. You follow the startup tech scene and regularly attend events.

As the Operations Manager, you will help deliver a demanding curriculum during Cyber London’s 13-week program, as well as support the development of CyLons brand amongst key stakeholders and the startup community. You’ll be responsible for identifying the next generation of Cyber Security startups and for adding quality mentors to our network. Reflecting the teams CyLon accommodates, the Operations Manager will be creative, fast-moving, self-motivated, work to a high standard and ideally be passionate about the broader Cyber Security landscape.

Responsibilities

• Constantly identify areas for growth, improved execution and constant optimisation
• Identify and participate in outreach events
• Work with wider CyLon community to organise CyLon specific events
• Help manage CyLon’s online presence, including the website and social media
• Develop and manage the CyLon Alumni Network
• Be flexible and open to opportunities which could improve CyLon’s offering and branding

• Solid work experience in a high growth environment ideally in either startup acceleration, entrepreneurship and/or venture capital
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experiences, being able to inspire and support startups
• High level of organisation and time management
• Comfortable working in a fast past environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to get things done
• Strong business sense, with experience in operational aspects of startup & company development, especially in the early-stage phase
• Proven track record of taking ideas and bringing them to life and meeting and/or exceeding KPIs
• A hands-on mentality with a strong taste for process innovation and continuous improvement
• You are curious by nature and interested in making an impact. You can demonstrate this through various projects you have been involved in
