This is a junior position within the accounting team consisting of 4 people. The business consists of two audited UK companies, one of which is FCA regulated. Currently using XERO.

Main tasks :

  • Daily Bookkeeping : process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Online banking
  • Weekly multicurrency payment runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assistance in the maintenance of the Purchase & Sales Ledger
  • Assistance in the preparation of VAT returns
  • Expenses recording
  • Handling of accruals and pre-payments
  • General administrative duties
  • AAT qualified or local equivalent
  • 2 years minimum experience of a similar role within an accounting department
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong bookkeeping skills
