This is a junior position within the accounting team consisting of 4 people. The business consists of two audited UK companies, one of which is FCA regulated. Currently using XERO.
Main tasks :
- Daily Bookkeeping : process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Online banking
- Weekly multicurrency payment runs
- Bank reconciliations
- Assistance in the maintenance of the Purchase & Sales Ledger
- Assistance in the preparation of VAT returns
- Expenses recording
- Handling of accruals and pre-payments
- General administrative duties
- AAT qualified or local equivalent
- 2 years minimum experience of a similar role within an accounting department
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong bookkeeping skills
- Excellent organizing abilities
