Banking Project Manager

full-time Fluidly London

We’re a small Fintech, friendly team of 30, attempting to solve the biggest problem facing small businesses - poor cashflow.

We’re using engineering and machine learning to provide real-time forecasting that helps small businesses and their accountants to be more confident in their decisions, and allows the owners to sleep a little better at night!

We’re now looking for a Banking Projects Manager to bring a varied breadth of experience as we rapidly scale the business. You’ll be owning our first partnership with *the* leading Tier 1 bank when it comes to Fintech, ensuring our projects with them run smoothly from conception to delivery.

Where you can have impact

  • Partnerships - Maintaining clear sight of the long-term strategy whilst owning the day to day relationships with Tier 1 banking partnerships. Starting off with our first partnership, you’ll develop the cornerstone for what this process should look like as we scale to work with others.
  • We believe this is going to be a key position for our development and you’ll be getting all of the plaudits!

  • You’re incredibly organised, able to manage multiple work strands and relationships.
  • You’re hot on the details, sweating the small stuff whilst making sure we don’t forget the big picture.
  • You’re a confident operator both with internal and external stakeholders, able to influence with aplomb.
  • You’re great at finding the win-win situations, and if you can’t great at communicating the value to both parties.

Knowledge / Experience:

  • You’re probably a strategy consultant, or have been one, able to analyse problems with breadth and depth at speed.
  • You’ve developed a balance when it comes to action, knowing exactly when to run with things and when to take a step back.
  • You’re an experienced project / programme leader.
  • Bonus for banking / credit / SME lending background!

  • You have a great passion for attention to detail and get frustrated when t’s are not dotted and i’s not crossed...
  • You’re the boss of prioritisation.
  • You’re a trusted advisor who can present clear data to leadership and can aid in their operating mechanisms.
  • Youre comfortably organised amongst chaos.
  • You’re a broad thinker and have the capability to see the potential impacts of decisions across the wider business, not only your department.
  • You’re a decent human being!

  • The most competitive salary we can afford (DOE)
  • The best kit money can buy (and of your choice). Even that absurdly priced escape-key-less macbook. If you want it.
  • Meaningful equity. We want people to have a serious stake in the business so that all of our interests are aligned. It’s your baby too.
  • 25 days holiday – and we will make you take it. Burnout is not big or clever.
  • Limitless challenge and scope for development. You are joining us at a very exciting time and have the opportunity to take this role in your preferred direction as we grow.
  • As much of our time as you need. You professional growth is important to us, and we want to help you to be awesome.
  • Sensible problems that will add real value to real people. This isn’t a HBO parody company.
  • Flexible working where possible. We like being in the office because it should be fun. All the same if you need to leave early on ${DAY} to make the school run, that’s no problem.

We’re one of Wired magazine’s top 10 London startups 2018, have been selected for the FinTech50 2018 “Hot 10” list and we’re one of 12 finalists for the Nesta Open Up challenge.

We strive to create an inclusive workplace where people have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, race, religion or belief, disability, age or pregnancy.

We embrace difference and know that if you can be yourself at work, youll be happier, more motivated and creative. We want you to bring your whole self to work, to have your own perspective and know that you belong.
