Product

Already serving 400,000 customers throughout the UK, Pockits no-fuss current account offers everything you’d expect from a bank – and more. Our well-structured and agile engineering team creates new features from scratch on a regular basis and continually improves our existing offering to ensure we’re serving customers in the best way possible.

Pockit’s product set includes unique elements, such as a credit builder and a transparently-priced microloan (as well as direct debit, peer-to-peer transfers, and the ability to pay in with cash at virtual branches). Role

We are looking for a BI Reporting Analyst to manage and continuously improve our suite of self-serve dashboards and KPIs. Reporting to the Director of BI, you will have a rich and fascinating data set at your disposal, and will be building reports to provide clear, actionable information to senior stakeholders across the entire business. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent work ethics, be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and be able to pivot/adapt to changes as is inherent in a start-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • Give our data meaning. Leverage a large and disparate data set to build clear, visually-appealing reports and dashboards
  • Maintain and improve our existing suite of self-serve Power BI reports
  • Manage all regular KPI reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify meaningful trends in our reports, and dig into the data to find explanations for these trends
  • Ensure consistency and clarity of KPI definitions across all reports
  • Deal with the lion’s share of ad hoc data requests from across the team
  • Work with the rest of the BI team and the Engineering team to integrate new data sources into our reporting suite and improve our code base.

  • Attention to detail and lots of curiosity
  • SQL is essential – you will be using it daily. Ideally, you will have worked with large, disparate data set

  • Data visualisation experience. Power BI (with a strong understanding of DAX) is highly preferred
  • Comfortable with Excel
  • Experience of delivering punctual regular reports to senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills – you need to be able to present data clearly

Also, nice to have:

  • Experience of working with Marketing and Product teams
  • Experience of wrangling data from various sources using APIs
  • Previous experience of working in a start/up or Fintech would be advantageous, but not essential.
