Love Velo provides expert cycling holidays across the world and due to continued growth we are looking for a highly sales driven individual with both a strong passion for cycling and a large web of contacts within the corporate world and cycling industry.

The individual will be highly motivated to make use of their contacts to bring in significant corporate business and to continue expanding their network in the corporate world and cycling industry.

The role will be highly performance based on an uncapped commission structure so the hungrier the individual, the larger the rewards. This is a fast-paced role in a young and dynamic business. The individual will have a huge amount of autonomy over their role and as such, it is expected that they will be driven, motivated and be able to take initiative on all of their business development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To obtain a complete understanding of what the business can offer and to maintain and keep up to date with that knowledge.
  • Organising their diary to arrange pitches and meetings to win new and repeat business
  • To produce pitch decks and associated collateral in order to win new business/
  • To liaise with the sales management team on all commercials before closing any deals
  • To hand over all business won to the sales team
  • Weekly reporting to senior management
  • Working to specific business development KPIs put in place by senior management
  • Attendance at operational management meetings
  • Previous business development experience is essential
  • Must have a passion for cycling
  • A team player with great communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask
  • Must be able to recommend new initiatives and be able to deliver on them.
  • Must be able to be autonomous in their role
  • Reliable with great attention to detail
  • £30,000 basic salary (rising to £32,000 upon completion of a 6 month probation)
  • 5% uncapped commission on gross margin on all business directly won.
  • 22 days holiday pa, increasing to 25 upon completion of a 6 month probation
  • Familiarisation trips to UK, Europe and ROW destinations
  • Recommend a friend scheme up to £500pp/£1000pp (IT)
