In order to support the exponential growth ahead of us, we are looking to add a Business Development Manager profile to our current team of 35 people. The new team member will be instrumental in scaling Nextail’s business as we build one of the leading software companies in Europe, backed by the number one VC fund in Spain according to Dealroom.
The Business Development Manager will report to the VP Business Development and will be responsible of contributing to Nextail top-line growth by:
Identifying and prioritizing targets on key European markets.
Defining and executing sales strategy for identified targets.
Leading the sales process from the first meeting to preparation of the commercial offer and contract signing.
Supporting the VP Business Development in the coordination of teams and partners across geographies.
The role is based out of our headquarters in sunny Madrid but some travel is expected since you will be supporting sales across your geography. English is the company language, but within the team we speak altogether some 16 languages (counting both those of humans and computers).

Compensation that includes a fixed+variable salary as well as company equity as we progress towards our Series A and B fundraising rounds.
You are an experienced sales professional with more than 3 years of experience in B2B Enterprise software sales, ideally in a startup or other fast-paced environment. You have a proven track-record closing large deals. You are a value-based seller with extraordinary communication skills capable of pitching a complex product and articulating its value in a compelling way.
You are a natural networker. Ideally you already have a network of contacts in the retail industry from your past experience.
You are a team player used to working with people with diverse backgrounds. In your past experience you may have worked with development teams channeling the feedback from customers and targets. You are able to juggle multiple priorities at the same time and under time pressure.
You are fluent in Spanish and in English (other languages are a plus) and are interested in working in an international company.
