Role purpose

Youll join a start-up at a pivotal stage on its path to success. We’re a team of 51, looking for an ambitious, focused and truly talented Business Development Manager to join our growing commercial team.

The main focus of this role will be to engage with extended access hubs, GP federations and emergency care organisations (ACS) and drive adoption of our platform by engaging the ‘head and heart’ of our customers so that they cannot imagine life without Lantum.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with board level decision makers
  • Meet growth targets in line with our go to market strategy
  • Find, develop, pitch and close the Lantum offering to new clients
  • Perform live demos of our platform to Board members
  • Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ of Lantum on the ground, sensing customer needs and market changes
  • Work with the Implementation team to ensure a smooth relationship and operational handover from close to implementation and onwards to business as usual/ account management
  • Ensure data and business intelligence is central to the decisions being made (utilising tools inc. Salesforce & Tableau)
  • Develop and share Best Practice solutions for winning new business

About you

To be successful in your application, youll ideally encompass the following key attributes:

  • Technology sales experience (3 years +)
  • Proven track record of consistent delivery of new business and selling to senior decision makers
  • Commercial experience within a SaaS, marketplace or healthcare organisation
  • Passionate about disrupting barriers in the NHS
  • Confident in approaching, engaging and integrating new businesses and users onto a technology platform
  • Self-motivated to hit targets
  • Able to work collaboratively and demonstrate empathy towards colleagues, clients and users
  • An entrepreneurial flair and passion for the startup sector together with a positive execution oriented attitude
