Our client is looking for a charismatic, sales focused leader with a passion for cycling and sustainability. You will need to have experience in leading a team and working within the startup scene. This will be an accelerated transition from an introductory sales and marketing role to the Managing Director role as the founder transitions out of the company. This is a truly unique opportunity for someone with a strong business background to come in and make the company their own.
Our client is a fully green, bicycle delivery service for London. Using the spare capacity of commuters in the city to make drops on their way home or into work, turning this down time into a flexible way to make some money. The company have been supported by Geovation Hub and Transport for London and have now been successfully operating for over a year.
Our client now have 5 full-time employees and 150 cyclists delivering around London. The company is reaching an exciting stage where the concept is now successful and expansion is the next stage. This position offers a low basic salary but with significant equity in the business which is open to negotiation depending on the candidate's level of experience.
Who we are looking for
Our client requires someone who is a passionate leader who wants to enter a start-up in the early phase of growth and take the company to its next stage.
The candidate must be very performance focused as the role entails a large stake in the company with a much lower starting salary than industry standard for such a role.
