A bit about the job

Were looking for a talented product manager to join our Business Product team in Budapest. You will play a key role in bringing our revolution to large businesses using TransferWise to move money around the world at scale.

• You will be joining an existing team of talented product engineers. A successful applicant must be a good listener and communicator. Theres no room for big egos, and you need to build consensus around the plan based on careful research.
• Your first challenge will be to understanding the needs of businesses making international payments at scale and ensuring that the team has the right roadmap in place to meet their needs.
• You will be collaborating with our product teams in London, New York and Tallinn, travelling to the different offices as necessary.
• You will help the team develop a deep understanding of how businesses around the world manage their international payments.

A bit about you

• You have previous experience in a fast moving product organisation
• You have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of our users.
• You understand the big picture and can communicate it effectively. You know how to manage scope and deliver on the details.
• You dont shy away from getting deep into a problem, whether its doing user interviews, getting on the phone with customers or hunting down the right person to understand a crucial bug.
• You are technical enough to form realistic road maps together with the engineers and to ask hard questions about prioritisation decisions
• You have a proven track record of being able to deliver world class products. Youll be ready to show what these are, and how you made it happen.
• You are rigorous about measuring impact and assessing expected impact. Tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel and SQL are your best friends.
• You place customers first. You make no compromise on this. You have a strong sense of user experience quality, what you have built before demonstrates this.

Nice to haves

• Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira) is a plus
• UX / UI designer skills is a plus.
• Experience working with business users.
