Working in everyone’s favourite product space, we need a superstar CMO to share our story and achieve our dream of creating 1 billion smiles - twice - because we believe that if we do things right, people will come back for more.


fwip is looking for a talented, creative, and experienced Chief Marketing Officer with at least 10 years of marketing experience to join our team. As the marketing master, you will build the brand in the UK and abroad by truly understanding the customer, helping them along their journey with us, and making sure they feel GREAT about our company and our offerings.


We have served over a million customers without doing any marketing - until now. This means that as our new CMO, you will be given a blank canvas: the space to develop your own marketing vision and strategy, the resources and support to hire and manage a full in-house creative team, and a marketing budget to bring never seen before world-class ideas to reality across all touchpoints of B2B and B2C as we enter into a high growth phase. In other words, you’ll have the tools and people (and all the free ice cream you’d like) at your disposal, you just need to bring the brains, sweat, and creativity.

YOUR MISSION

The core mission of the Chief Marketing Officer is to work with the Global Head of Sales and the senior Management Team to develop and execute the global marketing strategy of fwip. Specifically, you will:

1) Drive lead generation and address in- and outbound sales, and

2) promote our best-in-class products, mission, and values in a way that is unique, creative and memorable.

This means that, among other things, you will be responsible for:


  • Strategy: You will create a full digital and traditional marketing strategy across multiple channels and subsegments, constantly reevaluating our strategic marketing approaches to optimise Traction and ROI.
  • Growth: Not only will you grow acquisition, engagement and retention, but you will also be expected to relentlessly focus on the highest-impact marketing interventions
  • Digital Marketing: Bring fwip into the future. We’ll expect you to build out analytics for a new fwip website and optimise UI sales funnel in a data-driven manner. You’ll get within 80% of followership on one social media platform of two key competitors within 1 year. Automate sales process with bot technology
  • People: Build a marketing team of high performers who deliver on the above goals, and create and fuel the content, drive external partnerships, and do it all in an appropriately cost-conscious way

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • You have experience in B2B, B2C, Marketing, PR, Communications, Content and PR to grow the global recognition of a brand
  • More than the number of years at a job, we care most about your drive, creativity, and your ability to marry the quantitative side of marketing with the creative genius to make your efforts connect with customers in a lasting way
  • You understand how to maximally scale a global marketing and PR operation but also how to strategically position messages to manage sensitivities in different markets and across both B2B and B2C channels
  • You have the ability to hire, manage, train and motivate a team of ~10 people to perform to their highest possible potential
  • You effectively set priorities, handle multiple projects, and hit your budgets and deadlines with a keen attention to detail, thriving in a fast-paced environment

SKILLS

  • 10+ years of marketing experience (B2B or B2B2C) in leadership roles with significant experience creating, managing and optimising campaigns across multiple digital and traditional channels
  • Mastery of CRM and marketing automation platforms, ROI analysis/campaign measurement tools
  • Experience in Social Media (a contact sport, wear a helmet!) deployment and strategies (Web, Xing, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube, etc)
  • Experience with P&L management and the ability to quickly grasp profitability drivers
  • Experience in the retail, FMCG sector (food a bonus)
  • Knowledge of the North & South American markets

Being able to communicate in 12 languages including Italian hand gestures is also a plus. Jokes aside, an entrepreneurial role will require your full time commitment and flexibility, but we do believe in a balance between autonomy, opportunity and challenge to make sure you love what you do. If you’re lactose intolerant and can’t eat yogurt, ice cream or dairy, fret not, we’ll still consider you.
