Content Writer

full-time Juro London

Juro is a fast-growing legal tech startup that helps businesses make contract management faster, smarter and more collaborative. Our mission is to make legal more human and we achieve this by delivering an intuitive, modern contract management platform that is built with love and widely adopted by the businesses that use it.

We are a small but fast-moving team and have already brought world-leading customers like Deliveroo, Skyscanner and SecretEscapes into the Juro ecosystem. We raised >$2.5m from the likes of Point Nine Capital, Seedcamp and the founders of Gumtree, TransferWise and Indeed.com, and were awarded the LegalGeek award for legal innovation.

We’re looking for a creative, self-starting, results-driven Content Writer to join our London office as our growth gathers pace. You’ll be an integral part of our Growth team, with lots of potential for career progression.

Juro grew by 5x in the last year and our ambitions have only increased in 2019. We’re changing contracts from being the end of something painful to being the start of something great, and we can’t do it without you.

Your mission will be to drive Juro’s market-leading content and unique tone of voice to the next level in terms of output, velocity and audience growth. Thousands of people read our eBooks, blog and whitepapers - you’ll support the head of content in taking this even further, making Juro a dominant, industry-authority brand through content that leads the conversation, while delivering genuine ROI to the business.

As content writer, you’ll work with our content and marketing teams to:

  • Increase and make consistent the current pipeline of relevant content, including authoring blogs, interviews, case studies, white papers and eBooks.
  • Develop and deliver new rich content streams including video, audio and interactive content.
  • Leverage events, partnerships and PR opportunities in content to put Juro’s message in front of growing and varied audiences.
  • Work with the head of content to deliver Juro’s SEO strategy. We belong on page 1 of google: you’ll help keep us there.
  • Drive an increase in the velocity and quality of Juro’s social output across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Deliver and potentially own day-to-day delivery across organic social.
  • Develop, own and distribute reporting and insights from content, including:
    • Blog traffic, users, trends etc (Google analytics)
    • Social analytics
    • Search data (current tooling is Ahrefs)
  • Support the wider business with content initiatives as needed. These might include:
    • PR
    • Product marketing and communications
    • Sales collateral
    • Event collateral
    • Product and copywriting

You are a talented writer with minimum 2-3 years’ experience. You might be in a junior content or marketing role in a B2B or professional services environment; alternatively you might write for a website serving similar audiences. If you have a background either in legal, or B2B SaaS, that’s even better; but the most important criteria is a gift for writing engaging copy and adapting your tone to fit your audience.

Key skills:

  • Talented writer with experience writing for business/professional audiences
  • Superb attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Interviewing / transcribing
  • Ghostwriting
  • Digital content ability: authoring, CMS, video (desirable)
  • Experience of, and aptitude for, business use of relevant social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
  • Demonstrable track record in producing search-optimised content to drive rankings results

Key qualities:

  • Data-driven approach: you prove your wins, strategies and growth with hard numbers
  • A doer, not just a thinker: you drive projects aggressively through to completion
  • Hunger to develop new skills and learn from high performers
  • Ability to prioritise quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • University degree (preferred)

We are a small, international team of which you will be an integral part. We focus on roles rather than titles and everyone at Juro loves getting together and solving hard problems for our customers, and for each other. On top of this, you will have:

  • Stock options as part of Juros long-term incentive plan
  • Free gym membership
  • Weekly team lunch events
  • Professional development budget
  • Regular team meet-ups around the world (recently Berlin, Barcelona, Lisbon)
  • Flexible working hours and occasional home working
  • Unlimited holiday (25 days recommended)
