You love writing. You also live (or would like to live) in Barcelona, one of the most creative and vibrant cities in the world. You’ll work for a company that creates beautiful personalised gifts and sleep well knowing youre spreading a big dollop of happiness around the world. You write from the heart with an honest viewpoint, creating arguments that are meaningful and persuasive. You put yourself in your work, hunt down truths and use wit and charm to win over your reader. You’re curious and perceptive and thrive in a collaborative, creative environment. You love writing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  1. Creating ideas, concepts and copy across all channels: compelling newsletters and website copy, entertaining facebook content and original radio and television campaigns.
  2. Communicate the benefits of new products and polish existing ones. You’ll also help create products that never existed before.
  3. Your teammates will be a brilliant group of designers, art directors, developers, writers, marketers and technologists.
  4. Taking charge of campaigns, demonstrating initiative and drive.
  5. Succeed, fail, have fun.

  1. A BA in advertising, journalism, communication or some related field. Probably.
  2. 3-5 years of experience working in a creative department. Roughly.
  3. A bunch of proven ideas and wonderful words. Definitely.
  4. Experience in writing persuasive website copy.
  5. You’re expected to give all the time required to create something delightful. Sometimes, that’s more than the hours in a day. But not often. We have a fridge full of beer, fresh fruit and hobnobs to make the hard work fun.

The Challenge: We are a young startup, and the only way is up! That means lots of interesting problems to solve.

Beer etc: Yes we do have a fridge, and yes it does have beer, but you will have to be quick. There are lots of beer lovers in the office.

Family: This is how I describe us to others. We socialise during and after work often. I have been persuaded to learn how to rollerblade. Actually, I dont know if that’s a good thing... But you get the idea :)
