We are looking for the most awesome CTO, who will be responsible for the technology offering at Verse, leading all technology driven initiatives that will help us connect the universe through payments. We need you to develop our technological vision and push this rocket towards new galaxies of payments.

As a Verse CTO you will provide strong technical leadership, drive innovation across all areas of our business with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and steer the technology team in the right direction.

Reporting directly to the CEO we seek somebody who is passionate about owning the strategic direction of all things tech.

What you will be doing:

• Coordinating new features with the product team
• Prioritizing functionalities and business needs together with CEO and Head of Product
• Designing and planning the implementation of architecture changes
• Estimating new features
• Maintaining clear communication between technology and product teams
• Eliminating possible backlogs in development
• Promoting new ways of development and innovation
• Being part of executive management team with a proactive ownership approach to the business

• You’re a Verse power user, an advocate for the platform, and passionate about fintech
• Manage and grow team of 15 engineers
• Experience with relational database (e.g. PostgreSQL)
• Experience in messaging and microservices (Kubernetes)
• Love for teaching and mentoring your teams
• Previous experience in the fintech sector or in rapidly-growing startup
