Customer Operations Specialist (part-time)

full-time Farewill London

We are looking for part-time Customer Operation Specialists to join us at Farewill. At Farewill, we build simple, beautiful products to change the way the world deals with death. We’ve grown to lead our industry, becoming the biggest (and favourite) will writer in the UK within 2 years of launching.

In the last 12 months, we’ve raised over £100M for charity, been on the front page of a national newspaper, averaged 9.6/10 on Trustpilot, headlined a Radio 4 show, and formed major national partnerships with organisations across the charity, insurance, and mortgage industries. Were at the forefront of legal technology, playing a crucial role in modernising important legal services, and have recently launched a brand-new direct to consumer probate product on the back of our latest funding round; our application of technology simplifying a complicated process.

This is an amazing opportunity for Customer Support Specialists to get involved at the start of a process which will help revolutionise the UK will and probate industry. You will help shape the team, the product and processes as we look to replicate our success with online wills. This is a great opportunity for people looking to kick start their career at a friendly and fast-moving startup, while making a genuine difference to people during their time of need.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Providing a consistently excellent experience to potential and existing customers over the phone, email and live chat; assisting with product and legal queries to fuel our growth
  • Gain an understanding of all aspects of the business and product
  • Championing the voice of the customer - internally upholding what is important to our customers and helping to make sure their feedback is heard across the business, and contributing your ideas to help shape how we do things
  • Being a part of our positive work environment and working with a bunch of genuinely nice people

Hopefully you’ll:

  • Have previous experience in Customer Support
  • Be approachable and sympathetic, with excellent listening, written & verbal communication skills, delivered in a reassuring tone
  • Have impeccable attention to detail, as well as great prioritisation skills
  • Prove you are able to quickly master internal systems and processes
  • Be motivated by the prospect of helping people through a difficult time
  • Have a genuine interest in Farewill’s products and mission
  • Be ambitious and excited about joining and growing in a fast-moving tech startup

Ideally, you will be working hours according to our service hours, 8am-10pm Monday to Sunday.

  • Competitive salary (salary £23-24k pro rata) and share options
  • 28 days holiday pro rata plus public holidays
  • Santander cycles membership
  • Regular off-site days and team lunches
