The Role:
KBCI, being a digital Bank, sees data as a critical element in fulfilling its ambitious goals, and this in a broad spectrum: from delivering a great customer experience (in many ways) with automated back-end processes, driving commercial insights for the business and fulfilling demanding regulatory requirements as efficient and accurately as possible. The department supports operational requirements, as well as actively driving a large-scale ambitious Data Warehousing programme.

This candidate will lead a new team of 11 professionals, forming a Data Squad to provide agile deployment capability. Core elements of the role include strong people leadership and resource planning. It also involves working closely with Demand Management, Technical leads and Project Managers to successfully drive execution of the approved roadmap.

has ‘data’ expertise (or keenness to learn quickly) and understands very well what data can and cannot do in:

data warehousing / data platforms / data processing - and the linked IT processes and governance

data governance

regulatory and BI reporting

Essential Skills and Abilities:
Excellent leadership and communication skills

Very strong people manager

Resource planning

Structured way of working / thinking / communicating

Competent and experienced in project management, capacity management

Basic understanding of processes, architecture (IT and BUS)

Project Management Qualification (desirable) + MS Project + Excel

Experience:
Leadership (with clear people management experience)

Track record of planning and delivering to high standard

Experience in the data and IT domain is desirable

Experience with projects / process improvement exercises desirable

Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Financial services experience
