We view our predictive models as a competitive advantage, making use of machine learning techniques and a variety of data sources. You will improve and monitor these existing models, as well as develop new models. You will also be responsible for the feature engineering - creating and testing new features as we get access to even more data sources. There will also be statistical work to test hypotheses that have come from the business.This role gives a unique opportunity to have a tangible impact on the models and analysis that influence business decisions.

Aside from the technical work, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to capture their expertise and maximise the impact of the analysis and models in production.


  • Expertise in binary classification modelling / credit scorecard modelling, using for example Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and Logistic Regression
  • Proficiency in SQL and R
  • Good communication skills
  • A demonstrable understanding of Statistics, backed by core principles gained in a quantitative degree like Maths or similar
  • Experience in delivering projects like: customer segmentation; propensity modelling (e.g. for a email marketing campaign); lead scoring; sales funnel analytics; A/B testing; churn modelling; sales forecasting
