Developer (m/f) Index Operations

Programming is your passion? While others are talking about complex correlations you see logical links? With your analytical and structured approach as well as your profound IT know-how you are willing to push our business logic and processes forward? Do you have a fundamental understanding of the Index and Benchmarking business and how they are used by our clients? Do you enjoy taking over responsibility, are you proactive and able to convince others of your ideas? Then you will very likely fit into our team!

Your Tasks

• Improving and supporting existing internal processes (e.g. for the calculation of our indices) technically
• Analyzing operational procedures and requirements
• Identifying measures to improve the quality and efficiency of our processes
• Developing interfaces to data and service providers
• Creating scripts for automation and validation of key steps in the index calculation process

Your Profile

• Academic degree in Economics, Business Information systems or equivalent
• Distinct coding and database administration skills (Python and/or VBA, SQL), ideally in the field of trading applications or Algos
• Practical experience in project management and/or as a business analyst or similar
• Affinity for quantitative financial markets in general and equities in particular
• Experience with data vendor terminals (Reuters or FactSet) and strong understanding of market data (sources, parameters)
• Innovative mindset and hands-on approach
• Highly structured and motivated
• Being a good team player
• Intercultural competence and good communication skills
