We’re looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Growth Intelligence: were building a unique machine learning platform to help businesses grow fast and optimise B2B marketing. Core to our platform is the build and deployment of data, machine learning models and our services based platform.

You’ll be working as part of the engineering team and have a real impact - increasing our productivity and taking on ownership over time for deployment, testing and infrastructure. Youll get to:

• Work in a friendly, collaborative team in Python - youll get lots of support in getting up to speed
• Have your ideas heard - working with our CTO and engineers to shape our processes
• Learn and grow - work on interesting problems, share ideas and get support for training / conferences (£1000 / year)

This role would suit someone who is comfortable in a startup environment and is keen to develop in a DevOps focused role - with the opportunity to expand your software engineering knowledge. Our tech stack is:

• Python (Flask apps)
• AWS (S3, EC2, RDS)
• Ansible and Ansible Tower
• Travis CI, GitHub
• Services based architecture - using RabbitMQ, Celery, Elasticsearch

Example projects you could work on:

• Improve CI / CD deployment of our internal Machine Learning platform
• Management (and automation) of AWS infrastructure
• Adoption of containerisation or new AWS services to support our platform
• Improve our test strategy / ensure new features are thoroughly tested
• Gain knowledge of security practices and processes (e.g. ZAP testing)

What were looking for:

• You have 2 years experience in a technical team (e.g. sysadmin, engineering)
• Youre interested in and (ideally) have some commercial experience in Python
• You have some experience in e.g. Ansible or another configuration management system
• Fluent English speaker
• Based in / can relocate to London

• Youve got experience with AWS
• You have an enthusiasm for writing well structured code
