Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong SEO / SEM knowledge and experience
- Strong web optimisation experience ( A/B and MVT testing skills)
- Good knowledge of digital analytics using Google Analytics, AdWords (or similar digital analytics solutions)
- Experience with online testing platforms such as Maxymiser, Optimizely, Site spec, or similar
- Disciplined approach to optimisation and evaluation - e.g. setting clear objectives and measuring success
- Good understanding of consumer and web trends, and the range of digital routes to market
- Proven track record of improving Conversion Rates
- Solid commercial experience in a conversion-optimisation role
- Well organised and methodical, with great attention to detail
- Commercial awareness with the ability to manage multiple streams of activity concurrently
- Strong communications skills, an innovative thinker and commercially astute
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the Tech and Marketing teams to understand user behaviour in order to identify opportunities and instigate improvements across all digital platforms
- Support the Marketing and Tech teams with CRO strategy and planning in line with best practice
- Working closely with product managers to help create, prioritise and manage list of conversion rate tests and enhancements across products
- Owning the end to end test plan
- Work closely with UX/CX/UI, design, content, online marketing team, etc. to scope out tests, document requirements, create hypotheses, develop variations to test, build tests and thoroughly QA
- Defining A/B or multivariate tests, monitoring the results and ensuring statistical significance
- Working closely with dedicated developer resource to ensure that changes are correctly implemented and tested
- Reviewing digital content plan across all platforms, run frequent keyword research and SEO audit
- Reviewing and benchmarking against competitors to identify potential opportunity
- Help grow and drive CRO roadmap to improve conversion rate and customer experience across products
- Deliver weekly / monthly progress reports and educational sessions within the wider team
- Drive continuous optimisation through ongoing measurement and performance reporting of the targeting, testing and personalisation programmes
