So, what exactly will you do?

The Director of Digital & Campaign Marketing will be responsible for designing, building, and optimising campaigns across all online and offline channels (omni-channel) in conjunction with our Content & Product Marketing team members. She/he will be accountable for how we activate our thematic campaigns, powering our lead nurturing programs and stimulating the creation of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). She/he will also be responsible for scaling up our Account Based Marketing (ABM) pilot project and in due course pivoting 50% of our digital marketing spend to ABM. Don’t worry if you are not an ABM specialist, there is support and guidance to help you. In your role you will lead a team primarily of 4 marketers, external SEO & PPC agencies and will mentor one of your team members to develop and expand their knowledge base and career path. It is a very exciting role, where you really see your work come to life, through activation and deployment. Where will you sit in the marketing team?

This new role is key to our expanded marketing function & strategic approach. Our team now stands at 15 people and is still growing. She/he will have a seat on our marketing council & will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). She/he will be joining our VP, Product & Content Marketing, Director, Media & Public Relations & Head of Sales & Marketing Operations. Not only will you learn in the role, but you will learn from our CMO and your peers (and vice a versa). Furthermore, the successful candidate will be given dedicated external marketing consultancy support to both expand your knowledge base and help you to succeed in the role. We not only want you to help us, we want to help you!

Experience & capability are key. If you are a digital marketing guru, then we are willing to listen, we will take someone with less experience in the areas listed below, if they can demonstrate they can do the job! However ideally, we would like someone who meets the following criteria:

  • Experience in managing, mentoring & motivating a team, remote team management maybe an advantage, as you will spend time talking to some team members via Skype.
  • Extensive digital marketing experience in the Financial Services, Technology or Software solutions industries for a firm (or firms) that are like our own or our customers? Banks, Asset Managers etc
  • Deep experience in developing key digital marketing channels across paid and unpaid digital media including blogging, search engine marketing, advertising, email marketing, social media, content syndication, webinars
  • Practical experience with Salesforce, Marketo or Eloqua, Engagio and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), ability to build out lead nurturing campaigns, trigger trees and system flows etc. In addition to data segmentation and profiling.
  • Excellent project management, execution and organizational capabilities with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable changes, can you see what is happening before we do?
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment, you will be need to be confident, strong willed and able to lead in your area, after all you will be the Director, Digital & Campaign Marketing
  • Ability to travel, up to 30% of the time
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or related field OR equivalent full membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) or Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII) OR an additional 4 years’ experience

  • Yes, you guessed it travel, some of your team members are in Dublin and NY and you will need to be there to engage with them face to face from time to time.
