The job...

You’ll be working with our finance guru (the financial controller), our fwip family members and partners to make sure that we pay our bills on time, we get paid on time and we never run out of paper for the printer.

What you’ll actually be doing

  • Process incoming invoices
  • Keep our finance system to make sure it’s up to date
  • Prepare invoices for customers
  • Process expenses for employees
  • Book travel for employees
  • Keep records of employee spending and associated authorisations
  • Work with HR to make sure our office is kept tip-top all the time
  • Be the face of fwip, welcoming visitors to the office
  • Ensure office supplies are maintained
  • Support the team with general administration tasks including postage.

How will I be measured

We want to be honest about how we will be able to tell you’re successful. We expect you to take responsibility for ensuring we receive our money on time from our clients and partners. and a zero-errors approach to record keeping. We also expect you to be on top of office supply ordering.

Our ideal candidate

You’ll have some experience with accurate data input - preferably in Xero and want to work in a paper-less way as much as possible. You may well have worked as a finance or office assistant in a startup. You might be an aspiring accountant getting ready to start out on your journey (don’t worry - we won’t judge you!).

Most of all you will be someone who isn’t precious about things - we’re a startup and every fwip family member has to be happy to turn their hand to anything to make sure we’re successful.
