THE ROLE

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join us in the fight against fraud. As Finance Assistant you will support the Financial Controller with daily/monthly/annual tasks. Ensuring the payments are processed in a timely manner and month end processes are completed inline with the month-end close list. You will also be working very closely with third parties to ensure payroll and annual audits are completely with accuracy.


We’re looking for a motivated individual with a thirst to learn. The ideal candidate will have a finance relating degree and want to go on to further accountancy studies. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Ledger and Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Process invoice payments
  • Reconcile company credit card payments
  • Accounts Payable, including invoices and expenses
  • Process monthly payroll and manage pension scheme
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Liaise with external bookkeepers and auditors
  • Assist with quarters/annual returns including VAT, National Statistics and other ad-hoc
  • Completing month-end tasks, postings & meeting deadlines
  • Finance related degree
  • Seeking qualification at ACA, CIMA or ACCA level
  • Excellent numeracy and Excel skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • The desire to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Previous experience within a finance function advantegous.
