We’ve been collecting data since 2008 on all manner of metrics, from how good Netflix performance is to figure out why Fortnite isn’t working for gamers. The SamKnows Finance Team oversees all aspects of the company’s finances from day-to-day bookkeeping right through to preparing management packs for strategic and financial planning & analysis.

That’s where you come in. Working closely with the Head of Finance, David Robinson, you will be given exposure to all financial aspects of the company. Your day-to-day responsibilities for areas such as bookkeeping, account reconciliations and cash monitoring & credit control, will be supplemented with project and other added value work.

  • Previous experience as a financial assistant in a scale up, start up or fast growing environment
  • Technical competence in double entry bookkeeping (ideally qualified / part-qualified)
  • Double entry bookkeeping within a software accounting package (preferably XERO)
  • Ability to use a range of office software, particularly Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
  • VAT reporting & submissions
  • Being organised and managing filing systems
  • Ability to learn, adapt and to be resourceful
