Mous is a fast growing phone accessory business with an office in China and London. It has quickly grown from a team of 4 to 40 people. Mous has recently launched a blockbuster crowdfunding campaign hitting over $2.4million in pre-orders - https://igg.me/at/mous . Mous is now expanding it’s eCommerce business on www.mous.co and will be launching new products both online and in retail stores.

Finance Manager, with potential to develop into Finance Controller as business grows. You will have a broad role. As our business is young and fast growing we need to set up processes (from Accounts Receivable to forecasting) and work with our accountants (Deloitte). You are initially going to be 80% of our finance department with Deloitte, however will quickly enable Deliotte, admin staff in China or UK to support you. This role will involve both making recommendations, topline decisions and also getting your hands dirty with spreadsheet work / chasing invoices. You will grow with our business, helping our business to grow and eventually move from Finance Manager to Finance Controller as we grow.

You will need to develop a global understanding of tax as we ship to +100 countries.

You will need to also work closely with our Digital Marketing team to better understand how Google AdWords and Facebook advertising effects profitability and stock forecasting.

Is this you? Organised – someone who knows what is happening before it happens. Loves an up to date spreadsheet and feels comfortable organising and planning. Self-Starter – is able to identify the tasks that need to be done, prioritise and manage your own work flow to deliver the most value each day. Social Savy – know what makes the social world tick and feels confident to reach out there on behalf of the brand to engage, entertain and respond to followers. A Talker- comfortable picking up the phone and chatting to customers, suppliers, agencies etc… A doer – someone who is impatient to deliver, themselves and with their team, and who loves nothing more than rolling up their sleeves to get stuck in. We will need someone who is organised, a good communicator, digitally confident and capable of taking on a wide range of responsibilities as and when the business requires.

A suitable candidate is:

Either:

• Someone who has just finished their accountancy exams and eager to get their hands dirty.
• Someone who has finance experience but bored of going at a corporate pace and wants to enable fast growth.
