We are looking for Front End Developer for an immediate need.

The applicants should have strong experience in JavaScript , CSS and Node.js .

Your job will be "to own" the visible pages of our products, used by some of the world's top known travel brands.

What we look for

• 3 years of proven work experience as a Front-end developer
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
• Very good understanding of Node.js
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them, including browser testing and debugging
• Understand the entire web development process: design, development and deployment
• Experience with mapping libraries: Google Maps, Leaflet, OpenLayers is a plus
• Notions of UI/UX design are a big plus
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles
• Ability to be autonomous and multitask at workplace
• Great communication skills (both written and verbal) in English
• You have a valid visa / work permit for Spain

Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements, provide an estimation, perform design and development, unit testing of the web pages
• Test the web pages across browsers and fix issues if any
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
• Work together with back-end developers to improve usability and testing AVUXI’s API
• Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Write functional technical documentation and guides
• Create quality mockups and prototypes
• Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Assist customers for optimal product integration if necessary
