Founded in May 2015, Papier is a fast growing, Soho-based startup, which has raised £3.5 million since launch and is changing the face of online personalisation. Papier offers a sophisticated user experience and delivers beautifully designed products, on-demand and all over the world, from personalised greeting cards to wedding invitations and stationery. Papier is looking for a bright and motivated front-end developer to join our team, in an environment that will allow them to push their skills.

Responsibilities

The position will report into the CTO and Product Director, and will work closely within our tech team.

It will be your responsibility to advise on technologies, ensure best practices and to constantly improve existing site performance. You’ll be helping to identify customer pain points and then building efficient solutions as we continue to develop a world-class user experience across mobile and desktop.

Experimentation, prototyping and iterative development cycles are key to how we work, so the ability to adapt to new approaches and build quickly is important. On the other hand, a keen attention to detail and the ability to finish a project to a high level of polish is also necessary

• Experience building exceptional websites with strong proficiency in:
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Javascript (familiarity with popular frameworks)
    
• Great written and interpersonal communication skills
• Obsessive compulsion to write beautiful, clean code
