On the dot has been created specifically to disrupt the courier/logistics/delivery space with innovative, next generation software. Backed by one of the world’s largest same day courier companies, we are building a SaaS platform that we believe can genuinely change the way this growing industry works. As an innovation lab created by CitySprint the largest national courier network in the UK, On the dot is a startup that is already fully funded.
We are looking for a backend developer to help us build the best realtime logistic platform for our customers, controllers and couriers. This includes improving and scaling our core allocation system, using machine learning to optimise the allocation of jobs to couriers. We offer the opportunity to work with leading edge techniques and algorithms and use CI/CD to deliver quickly from idea to production and see your ideas in action. Working with the largest sameday courier in the world allows us to see our platform used at scale and the volume of jobs provides the opportunity for new optimisations to best match the demand from customers to the supply of couriers, all in realtime as new orders come in.
We have a requirement for developer to work with our Front End Web team and to provide the backend micro-services that they rely on. If you have experience in Go but are interested in becoming a full-stack developer, there is the opportunity to learn some cutting-edge React as well.
