Based in the Northern Quarter, Manchester, it’s an exciting time for us as we continue to grow and reinvent software for the property industry. Were changing the way estate agents operate up and down the country and are always looking for exceptional candidates to join our dynamic and ambitious team.


Revenue grew by 10x in 2017 and we plan to do the same in 2018. The Head of Sales will be responsible for delivering this growth, whilst ensuring we are ready to scale further in 2019 (and beyond).

You will be responsible for delivering against ambitious sales targets, whilst providing an outstanding experience to all prospective customers. You will report to the Commercial Director and will work closely with the Head of Customer Success to optimise the end to end customer journey.


On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Owning the full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Creating new relationships for Spectre through outbound efforts
  • Helping to educate customers on the value of Spectre
  • Initiating, negotiating and closing new customers sign ups
  • Collaborating and working with different members of the team (Developers, Customer Success Managers, Leadership, etc.) to ensure Spectre continues to evolve to maximise customer success
  • Defining KPIs and using them to drive performance
  • Rapidly scaling the team and optimising team structure

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Sales experience, preferably within the property industry as a negotiator or within a SaaS company
  • Excellent communication skills both with customers and within an organization
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying process
  • Experience leading and scaling a sales team
  • Care deeply about providing excellent customer service
  • A data driven approach
  • A clear understanding of how to design and implement an outstanding process

Salary range: £50-70k OTE. However, sometimes the perfect person can be more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these cases, planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know in the application form.
