At Fluidly, We’re a small, friendly team of 25, attempting to solve the biggest problem facing small businesses - poor cashflow.
We’re using engineering and machine learning to provide forecasting that really helps small businesses and their accountants to be more confident in their decisions, and allow the owners to sleep a little better at night! We recently got recognised for our hard work by making into Wired’s top 10 UK startups.
We’re now looking for an Internal recruiter to bring their expertise in sourcing, screening and onboarding to help us scale our team. You’ll be reporting to our VP Operations and working with our Interim People Lead to help us find great members of the team across Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Data Science.
Where you can have impact
- Hiring - you’ll be our go-to hiring lead for Fluidly. Getting from Series A to Series B is going to see us grow from 25-45 minimum this year and you’ll be getting the plaudits for finding and bringing these people into the business.
- Employer Brand and Candidate Experience - you’ll be responsible for getting Fluidly’s brand out into the marketplace and giving every candidate we engage with a wonderful employee experience.
- Wider People Operations - you’ll work with our Vp Operations to help with everything from Fluidly’s onboarding to aiding compensation benchmarking alongside a range of other special projects.
Skills:
- You’ll have sourced and hired software engineers, data scientists and product managers in the past. You’ll get how to craft great messages, understand candidate motivations and enunciate what we’re doing at Fluidly.
- You’ll be able to confidently screen potential employees, managing first calls to
- You’re confident getting to the heart of competencies required for new roles, then creating great job adverts.
Knowledge / Experience:
- You’ll know where to go to find great software engineers to join our team - companies, communities and more.
- You’ll have phone screened candidates across a range of positions, so will be able to build trust quickly with everyone from an office manager to a sales leader.
- You’ll understand the basics of hiring KPIs and be able to set out clear weekly reports.
- You’ll know what a great hiring funnel looks like, and what to tweak if things are not performing to plan.

- You can manage many spinning plates all at once, but you’re also confident to know which ones should be dropped to prioritise.
- You’re a trusted advisor who can present clear data to leadership and can aid in their hiring mechanisms.
- Youre comfortably organised amongst chaos.
- You have a bias to action and you’re nice and methodical when it comes to managing hiring processes.
