About the role

As a Java Developer at Flexion Mobile you would be building, delivering and maintaining the features of our platform that enhances existing mobile games with new features and integrations. As part of the role you also have the opportunity to deep dive into the Android platform. You would be part of a well functioning and highly collaborative Agile team which on a daily basis plan, design and deliver together. Over time you will be expected to take ownership of individual platform components to drive architecture, improvements and quality in those areas.

Key Activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new integrations and core features of the Flexion platform
• Work with external data sources and APIs provided by companies like PayPal, Samsung and Amazon
• Test your code (unit test, feature test) for robustness, including edge cases, usability, performance and reliability
• Create highly scalable software solutions for serving tens of millions daily request to the platform

Essential Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years experience as Java Developer
• Core java and unit testing knowledge
• Scrum experience
• Good SQL knowledge, preferably MySQL
• A good understanding of HTTP protocol
• A few years of work experience in related areas

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Android app development
• Working with automated android testing frameworks
• Experience in web development and javascript using frameworks such as AngularJs
• Linux experience, such as knowledge of common commands
