Mentech Innovation BV develops emotion detection and recognition devices for among others mental healthcare and gaming markets. Mentech Innovation targets a first market entry in care houses for mentally disabled and dementing people to improve quality of life and happiness . For that, Mentech Innovation works closely together with healthcare organization Severinus. To support the development of the EmoRadar, a software platform to quantify emotions, Mentech Innovation has an exciting assignment for a lead software engineer.

As a lead software engineer, your main task will be to develop an advanced software platform, the EmoRadar. This open platform will merge and analyze a number of indicative physiological body parameters, such as heart rate, skin conductance, saturation and ECG signals to emotional signals (including frequency analyzes and correlations) and visualize them through a visualization tool. You preferably have the following profile:

• 5 years of programming experience, C#, Java, C, SPSS and/or MySQL;
• A BSc or MSc degree in mathematics or computer science;
• An entrepreneurial mentality, with good communication, collaborative and leadership skills;
• Eagerness to work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers and psychologists in a vibrant startup.
