(Senior) Magento Web Developer – eCommerce (m/f)

IT – Berlin

You will be responsible for developing high quality eCommerce platforms using Magento. You like to build websites from scratch and have an entrepreneurial mindset. This full-time position is based in Berlin, starting as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for developing high quality content about our product inventory as well as building-up and maintaining our blogs. You are a person that likes to get things done and has an entrepreneurial mindset. This full-time position is based in Berlin, starting as soon as possible.

The job:

• You will build eCommerce solutions from zero to hundred by adopting Magento´s best practices while meeting business requirements
• You will design and develop new pages and continuously update and improve end-user experience with an eye on improving performance
• You will be responsible for search-engine optimization and functionality, as well as testing, monitoring and documenting user needs while fixing all technical problems
• Understanding short and long term business goals and recommending solutions
• Developing custom modules for integration into ERP, accounting, fulfillment and marketing systems

The requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field
• 2+ years of job related experience (eCommerce is preferred)
• Advanced experience on Magento Platforms
• CSS and HTML5 skills, as well as MySQL database administration skills
• Developed knowledge of SEO principles
• Excellent problem solving skills
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a fast moving startup environment
• You are open, communicative and enjoy working independently

Nice To Have:

• Magento Developer Certification, JQuery, XML, MVC Frameworks (e.g. Zend Framework)
