We have a unique opportunity for a Market Research Analyst to join our team of professionals at Wirex . Based in the heart of London in the iconic Tower 42 Building, we are a leading-edge payments company that has bridged the divide between traditional and cryptocurrencies.

The analyst will play a key role developing our research and analysis function and be the face of Wirex. You will be involved in providing industry overviews, market analysis and commentary.

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain experience working in a fast paced FinTech where you will be on a steep learning curve. You will be given space to carve out a niche in a massive growth industry.

We need you to have the following skills

Experience analysing, discussing (in written formats and in front of cameras) , and/or writing about financial markets, international affairs, and business news with a strong cryptocurrency focus.

You need to be passionate about emerging technologies, financial markets, as well as have a clear understanding of how news affects cryptocurrencies.

The position requires Research, analyses, and interpretation of financial information and market trends

While we have a strong content team to support you having journalistic skills will be an advantage. The ability to craft both short and long-form content that tell the story of financial markets will be an advantage

You will need to demonstrate an ability to explain and unpack complex information in a way that a layperson will be able to understand.

You will need to be comfortable in front of TV cameras and have the ability to address audiences at conferences.

Initiative is key – you will be required to present ideas and execute them.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are assumed.

Your position will require you to work with our excellent content team researching and compiling market research for our platform and outreach.

You must be willing to travel internationally

Advantageous:

Experience in forex or investments

The role will require you to undertake in depth research and analysis in the cryptocurrency arena. A passion or interest in cryptos will be advantageous. This is a role for a hands-on individual who is looking to take ownership of the role and grow it into a key aspect of the business.

- Gathering and processing industry data, monitoring the relevant industry trends, providing update reports on the industry outlook

Certification in Technical analysis ……
