National New Business Manager - Coffee Shops & Food to Go

full-time fwip London

“National Sales Managers” for a fwipping great British Company

Nationwide & Home Based Roles

Welcome to fwip

fwip, the “world’s smallest gelateria”, is one of the UK’s most exciting frozen dessert brands. With a ‘lucky 13’ coveted Gold Stars from the Great Taste Awards and over 400 locations across the UK, we’re investing heavily in our sales team growth.

Most companies laud their secret recipes, fancy innovations, or even luck as the reason behind their success. At fwip, while we eat too much frozen yogurt (fact), have some pretty funky innovations (we really do - we promise and they are awesome), and believe that the harder we work, the more luck we seem to have, the secret sauce that has us going strong into our 9th year is our people; Our sales team is a group of hard-working, competitive and motivated individuals who believe in solution selling that saves businesses time and makes them money, all the while bringing a bit of happiness to customers. After all, who doesn’t enjoy a tasty frozen dessert every once in a while.

At fwip, we’re looking for humans, not robots – that means people who can tell a story, are good at listening and can make constructive arguments that show they have an opinion and can challenge the mind-sets of business operators and decision makers. So hold off those self-driving cars for a minute more! If you’re not a robot and you’d like to be a human titled ‘qualified sales guru’ and join our OOH sales team as part of the fwip family helping us achieve our ambitious goals, we’d love to hear from you.

The Ideal Candidate

Personable, professional, goal-oriented and competitive.

We’re looking for both the hard commercial and the professional teacher in you. You need to know what a good solution sales feels like, be able to teach people around you in fwip what that looks like (we are proud to have a learning culture here at fwip) but most importantly can demonstrate that to our customers (both current and new) and together you will help us build a powerful and sustainable business in the UK and beyond.

Can you show true credibility in everything you do and make a challenge become a set of actions that mean something - do you do results? Just as importantly can you keep doing results over a sustained period - we need Mo Farah’s here.

We need these roles to be filled by gurus who know how to engage with customers in the food service and leisure channels and can run a 5,000 metres followed by a cheeky 10,000 metres straight afterwards just for good measure. Along the way you will be supporting the UK Head of Sales and will be focused on:

  • Key account research
  • Pitch presentations
  • Meeting support and logistics
  • Follow ups
  • New account activation
  • Business development - growing sales and profit from existing customers
  • Winning new business - this (no secret here) is quite important to us at fwip

Your Personal Best: Like Sir Mo you will know how to train like a demon and be ready for the race ahead. You will do that training alongside dedicated fwip pace setters who will do their very best to make you a success and take the tape first when it really matters - at fwip we are so dedicated to sales and getting you to exceed your personal best that we only think about two types of people business - sales and everyone else who works in support of sales.

Please note that despite the high volume of applications we receive, we will still reply to you! If you take the time to apply, the least we can do is reply

We need managers who can chase new business with Leisure Nationals such as cinemas, leisure centre operators, holiday resorts and gym chains. We are also looking for those with experience with coffee shop and food to go chains.

Benefits: We offer a salary linked to experience together with a material annual bonus for the very best medal winners and times.

Company Car Unlimited amounts of frozen yogurt & ice cream and an opportunity to make an actual difference in an entrepreneurial, high-growth start-up British environment
