Norwegian Territory Manager

TrekkSoft is a leading online booking software provider that is transforming the tour and activity market with its constantly-evolving booking and payment solutions. Behind TrekkSoft, there is a diverse team of individuals with over 20 different nationalities, each of whom is dedicated to their customer base and continually enhancing the solution. We have offices in Barcelona, Interlaken (Switzerland), Minsk and Munich.

As a Territory Manager, you will be in charge of acquiring new clients with a focus on Norwegian market as well as account management of existing TrekkSoft clients in Norway. You will be reporting to the Head of the Sales department.

Main responsibilities:

  • Business Development for named accounts in your assigned territory
    • Business development via prospecting, market analysis and partnerships generate up to 50% of your pipeline
    • Sales and meetings with tourism organisations, DMOs and suppliers
  • Account Management for assigned contracts
    • Managing key clients in Norway and acting as their main point of contact
    • Working with the Product and Customer Success Management departments to ensure clients are successfully onboarded
  • Networking Activities
    • Attending trade shows
    • Working with the marketing and sales team to increase market awareness within your target market

Your background:

  • Previous experience in travel technology, B2B SaaS, and/or experience in the sale of travel is a plus
  • Experience in a high pressure tech-startup environment is a plus
  • A Bachelor’s degree. It’s an advantage if you studied Business Administration or Tourism and Hospitality.
  • You are a resident of the EU or are in possession of an EU passport

Your skills & experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Development and/or Account Management (minimum 3-5 years)
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Solid IT affinity and ability to learn a complex software
  • Proficiency with CRM tools or other sales technology
  • Expert user of spreadsheets and super organized
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused and proactive
  • Team player with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Driven to perform well under pressure, reach targets and meet deadlines
