Loot is looking for an enthusiastic Office & Accounts Assistant to work closely with our growing Finance and HR teams with an initial focus on day-to-day accounting tasks and the smooth running of our growing London office.
Reporting to Head of HR, you will look after the office and help create and maintain a safe, fully-supplied and welcoming space whilst supporting the administrative side of the business.
You will work very closely with the CFO, who is responsible for maintaining an efficient, organised and accurate finance function for the business and as an Office & Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for executing a variety of day-to-day financial operations such as purchase ledger, payroll, and basic bookkeeping. Loot uses Xero as its accounting package, with an integration with Receipt Bank for incoming invoices and expense claims.
The right candidate will have strong attention to detail and accuracy. You should be prepared to adapt to ever-changing situations, ideally with a track record of supporting fast-growing companies. This role must be able to work and communicate effectively with both the finance team and all other team members and departments.
As we are still a startup and the role is quite general, you will have a lot of ownership of your growth and career as you are introduced to bigger and bigger challenges. No specific education related to accounts is required.
