Operations Associate

We’re working with a world of kitchens, over 500 of the best independent chefs, street vendors, specialist caterers, restaurants and supper clubs in London. After 5 years, we’ve already delivered well over one million meals across London to some of the world’s most iconic brands like Google, Facebook, Spotify and Buzzfeed, amongst many others. We’re hungry for more and hope you are too.
Working with us as an Operations Associate, you will:
- Oversee day to day operations including orders for restaurants, delivery trips, equipment, operations processes
- Manage and work collaboratively with our restaurants and delivery partners
- Use data to streamline and improve existing processes and/or create new ones
- Assistance in on-boarding new vendors.
- Ensure that delivery trips are all booked appropriately, tracked and on time
- Identify opportunities to improve our current operating model
We do what we say we will. Heres what well need from you:
- You have at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar/operations role
- You are data oriented and have experience working with spreadsheets, performing quantitative analysis and using advanced Excel formulas
- You are commercially minded
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can build a rapport very quickly with clients, partners and colleagues
- You are a problem-solver and a fast-learner
- You have a hands-on approach with a scrappy mentality to do whatever it takes to get things
The nice to haves:
- Experience with a courier or logistics company is highly desirable
- Experience in a fast growth company or startup is highly desirable
- Experience building menus is highly desirable
