Who you are

You’re motivated, resourceful, and interested in working at a startup that’s leading the market. You’re proactive and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty, and have a proven track record of prioritising your work and delivering things on time. You’re an analytical problem solver, and are constantly looking for more effective and efficient ways to do things.

This role has a wide range of responsibilities and the work will be varied, so you’ll be excited and curious to learn new things and get involved with different areas of the business.

Over the next 12 months:

  • You’ll report directly to our COO Constance to provide key operational and administrative support as we scale
  • You’ll track and collate key company metrics
  • You’ll prepare materials and reports for our board, investors, and the rest of the Farewill team
  • You’ll build and optimise internal processes and materials for scale
  • You’ll work directly with our accountant to ensure our accounts and payroll are up to date
  • You’ll provide key administrative support such a managing our post, office supplies, kitting out the office with the furniture and equipment we require
  • You’ll arrange and manage budgets for team social events - from our company holiday to bimonthly offsites
  • Support our COO in ‘special projects’ from moving office to launching new business units

You should have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel or Google GSuite (including Excel / Sheets, Word / Google Docs)
  • A proven track record of delivering work on time and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks
  • Great organisation and attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and resourcefulness
  • An eagerness to help a scaling business grow quickly
  • An interest in what we do as a company, and the drive to change an outdated industry for the better

Added bonuses:

  • An undergraduate degree (2.1 or better)
  • 1+ years experience in a business operations or consulting role
  • An enthusiasm for startups
