We may be only five years old, but it’s already been quite a ride!

Our first product, the internet-connected Switchee thermostat is already in over 40 of the biggest housing providers in the UK. We’re growing 100% year on year and are backed by some of the best-known investors in technology and social impact. Our next project is to build the ultimate connected hub for the social home. It’s going to revolutionise the way residents interact with their properties and landlords manage their homes.

Operations Internship

Are you interested in a career in operations? An internship at Switchee can help give you an understanding of operations within a small but well-established team at a fast-paced startup.

The Operations Team is critical for the running of the business and is a vital part of Switchee’s success. It is responsible for a wide and ever-changing range of functions including stock, logistics, resident and installer support, and fleet management. Working in the Operations team at Switchee will give you exposure to a range of different opportunities which gives you breadth and depth of experience

Your Responsibilities:

1. Working on the frontline with our residents to ensure that they are getting the most out of the Switchees installed in their properties.
2. Testing and triaging Switchees, helping us improve the product.
3. Assist the Switchee operations team to improve processes and procedures.
4. Work on ad hoc projects with interns from the R&D and commercial teams.

About You

• We firmly believe extraordinary people can come from a wide range of backgrounds, but you are on your way to achieve a 2:1 or higher at university.

• You are available for between 8 to 12 weeks, to start in the week commencing June 15th with a flexible end date.
