What You’ll Be Doing

We are currently looking for an experienced Paid Social Marketing Executive to work operationally on our paid social campaigns as well as leading on key analytics topics to define the future strategy of the paid social channel; Should we invest more on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Pinterest? What is the best strategy to deliver successful campaigns? What type of videos would you recommend to target a female audience below 34? and for a male audience above 45? How can we move consideration for the brand?... Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to achieve great results and help deliver a customer-centric mindset across the business.


  • Develop the Moonpig Paid Social strategy to build audiences, drive consideration and incremental margin from existing customers with a clear focus on the UK
  • Understanding the difference between running a campaign that moves consideration and a campaign that drives incremental revenue
  • Ensure campaigns are kept within budget and maximum ROI is achieved
  • Ensure a data-led approach to all activity, creating a clear test & learn strategy and optimising to clear KPI goals
  • Set up Marketing campaigns and deliver Paid Social reports to senior management
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively with internal team members and senior management
  • Full of initiative and comfortable in a fast-paced, “do it yourself” environment. Proactive, fearless, hungry and determined, you’re not afraid to try new things and pick up new skills on the fly
  • Self-directed, can work in a small team and influence others (start up experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 year of experience in a Paid Social role
  • Good knowledge of paid social marketing (Optimising a Facebook campaign has no secrets for you!)
  • Highly numerate and data-driven
  • Display experience & knowledge is a bonus (but not a requirement)
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Effective reporting and presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn fast, self-motivated & can-do attitude
