The position

As a React Native Engineer, you will work together with other team members on ResearchGate’s upcoming React Native app to help millions of researchers worldwide to make science more efficient in their day by day work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with our design & product teams to build new exciting features
• Write high quality, testable code
• Take responsibility for your own solutions and continuously improve on them
• Implement our pixel perfect designs with advanced animations
• Extend and implement our APIs

Requirements

• Expert knowledge with React Native, React, and Javascript
• Knowledge of the iOS or Android ecosystems
• Knowledge of Java / Kotlin or Swift / Objective-C programming
• Solid experience in testing applications
• Knowledge in building and maintaining scalable mobile applications
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS)
• PHP experience is a plus
• Very good command of English required, German is a plus
• You are legally able to work in Germany. If you don't possess a work permit for Germany yet, please let us know and we can possibly assist you with the process
