full-time BridgeU London

The Opportunity

At BridgeU, we make educational decisions data-driven through predictive analytics, and we use machine learning to better prepare students for the next stage of their educational and professional journeys. One of the top 20 Startups in Europe (by EdTech Europe), and having closed a large investment round ($3.5m) from top global investors, BridgeU is one of the most innovative, fast-growing Education Technology businesses in Europe.

We spent the last five years becoming the market leader as a SaaS solution provider to international high schools to support their Career and University Guidance process. We recently released the first of a set of solutions into the Higher Education market in an exciting new move for the company. Our solutions are complementary and connect together to deliver a truly unique capability to both schools and Universities.

What you’ll be doing:

As we scale up and out, we need to increase the size and sophistication of our Sales Development efforts. We have been very outbound sales focused since the beginning and need to continue to improve our team and approach to this. We also need to work even more closely with Marketing on coordinated campaigns and to drive greater inbound leads.

As the team grows, and due to the two locations we need a focused manager to shape and deliver an effective team and way of working to meet our goals. We are now looking for a manager to come in and own and drive this change. Building the right team, skills, culture and operating model to ensure we grow fast and have fun doing it.

We are open to a broad range of candidates for this role - either seasoned SDR leaders looking for a role with deeper purpose of helping children realise their personal ambition post school, through to experienced individual contributors who have been an SDR and Account Exec previously and have a clear vision and approach to how they would take on this role.

Youll be joining a smart, ambitious team, in an exciting, fast-growth environment. You will be a key hire in London and will have the opportunity to work closely with senior management, and influence how we continue to develop this part of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and scale up the existing team in London and Hong Kong teams line managing the individual SDR’s and creating a positive and winning culture.
  • Develop clear operating processes within the team and to align with the marketing and sales teams around integrated campaigns.
  • Define and deliver on KPI’s that keep us on track and signal early how we are doing.
  • Shape and advance our systems to make the job as streamlined as possible. We use Salesforce and Pardot as our key tech stack.
  • Hire and onboard the right team
  • Provide coaching and personal development to an ambitious team increasing their capability as an SDR and supporting them to develop into other roles over time as appropriate

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience of leading an SDR team focused on both Outbound and Inbound growth
  • Ability to identify and shape talent
  • An inquisitive mind to constantly evolve our approach and stay ahead of best practice
  • Comfortable with people, data and processes you have the skills and attention to detail to identify issues and make the right strategic decisions.

If you feel you don’t quite meet all the criteria in the job spec but have the potential to do the role, we’d still love to hear from you.
