Sales Executive (juniors and seniors)

  • We are looking for passionate and results-oriented Sales Executives as part of our global Sales and Biz Dev teams
  • Execute on our go-to-market strategy and partner with cross functional teams across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Risk to remove obstacles and close deals
  • Create a great first impression to our prospective customers by inspiring them to learn how MODIFI can benefit their business
  • Build a super strong direct sales funnel to make MODIFI the global leader in Trade Finance for SMEs
  • Help develop powerful indirect sales channels (such as b2b procurement platforms, freight carriers, logistics players) to create a powerful ecosystem for our customers and partners and drive incremental growth
  • Maximize customer relationships through proactive account management, working with customers to define, iterate and enable new initiatives and products
  • Be the voice of the customer and engage with Product teams to drive product improvements
  • For juniors: Initially to act in a pre sales role to identify potential clients and set appointments for an open exchange with MODIFI. The goal is to have you as a full end to end sales team member within three to six months
  • A positive, hungry and persuasive personality: We’re looking for someone determined and able to grow and win! More a Hunter than a Farmer
  • Passion for small and medium-sized businesses, international trade and development and how digital trade finance can create significant growth for such businesses
  • For seniors: Prior experience in Sales, Business Development or Partner/Project Management, preferably in a startup, technology and/or high-growth business. Background in FinTech and b2b businesses is a big plus
  • Ability to influence C-Level executives as well as passionate owners of small and medium-sized businesses
  • Clear written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building skills coupled with the ability to develop consensus
  • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams and departments
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Confidence to work in German and English
