You should be fit for this role if you have most or all of the following skills.
We are building a technology platform with which we hope to revolutionise the care industry. Vida aims to provide a holistic circle of care connecting all stakeholders; enhancing the quality of care by empowering our clients, their next-of-kin and our carers. We also focus heavily on our carers, investing in up-skilling them and ensuring they get remunerated well – this directly transfers into the quality of care our clients receive.
In order to deliver end-to-end care we are building a suite of tools to schedule, manage & monitor our care visits. This includes mobile apps for clients, their next-of-kin and our carers and a back office system for our operators.
Our front end stack
We are developing a web application where carers and clients can perform different actions based on the role that they have.
Our main website, instead is using WordPress with a custom theme and it is using Grunt as task runner.
We follow the main rules in the coding style in our implementations: we like that our code is clear and clean and reusable.
We represent our work on a Kanban board in ZenHub and focus on having a good degree of contact between the development & design teams to ensure everyone is clear on whats being built. We expect developers to have ownership of their work from start to finish, this means having autonomy to solve problems and deliver functionality into production in a timely manner.
We use pull requests and code reviews to obtain feedback from our peers.
Testing is important to us, and we want to cover all the features with unit tests where we would like to have the % as much higher as possible.
Whilst we endeavour to respond to all applicants within 14 days, due to volumes received this isn’t always possible. If you’re not contacted within 14 days, you may assume your application on this occasion has not been successful.
