We are planning on open multiple development centres all around Europe and we are on the quest to find skilled and friendly Senior Full-Stack developers (Ruby on Rails) to kick off our new development hub in Hungary. As first hire, you will have a strategic importance and be tasked with assembling a competitive team under the direction of our CTO and Lead Ruby Developer.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering crisp, clean, testable code
• Responsibility for the development of our workforce management platform including a JSON API
• Development of new features and participation in product decisions
• Contributing to ensuring the security of the platform content
• Performing code reviews
• Analyse and fixing of bugs
• Share best practices and be a mentor for new team members

Skills:

• 5y+ Commercial development experience
• 3y+ Professional experience with Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS3 & JavaScript
• Strong leadership
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL or other relational DBs
• You excel at working in cross-disciplinary teams to deliver the best user experience
• You like to collaborate and participating in product decisions
• Demonstrable experience writing automated tests
• A love of linting you have high standards on the quality of your own work and like to share your knowledge
• Hands on experience using git and with either GitHub, GitLab or BitBucket
• You communicate fluently in English
