Tell me about the role! 📣

The Social Media Manager works closely with the Marketing team to define and implement Bud’s social strategy; co-ordinating and creating social output across platforms to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content is being produced and published, and adhere to weekly/monthly targets in line with Buds social objectives and company goals.

What you will be doing 🌱

  • Develop and implement Buds social strategy with ambitious quarterly targets and measure their success.
  • Work with the editorial, commercial and marketing teams on audience growth and engagement and to evolve content formats
  • Work closely alongside marketing team to create aligned consumer communications across all channels to ensure consistent brand messages
  • Using a data-driven methodology to improve effectiveness in all social media channels
  • Work alongside Marketing strategist to devise data-driven methodology to improve effectiveness in all social media channels, ensuring proper tracking, attribution, automation, and optimization.
  • Be the social media expert for the business and advise on marketing, content, platforms and channels as required.
  • Collaborate across the business on innovative marketing campaigns for all products, partnerships and feature launches.
  • Develop and own the Social Media Content Strategy for both paid and organic activity across: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Medium
  • Create and manage social media plan to service all areas of the business; including talent, consumer, business and partnerships.

You might have 👀

  • 3-5 yrs experience defining and implementing social media strategy for a well-known brand.
  • Financial sector experience also an advantage, although a passion for building communities is most important.
  • Experience of user acquisition campaigns that support Buds growth initiatives
  • Working with legal & copywriting for creative & promotional assets done / approved
  • Creativity and innovative thinking in terms of social media marketing
  • Managing performance and post-campaign analysis reporting
  • A deep knowledge of social media marketing and content strategy
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Analytics, SEO and intelligence tools.
  • Experience in tech start-up and growing online communities

Bud gives 25 days holidays, all bank holidays and we think the festive period in December should be spent relaxing so we give the whole team time off between Christmas & New Years Eve!

Flexible working hours ⏰

Our core hours are 9:30 am to 6 pm. However, as part of our high-performance team, youll benefit from the flexibility to manage your own day optimising the way you work so you can be at your best.

Social 🕺

We’re big on keeping Bud a social team, so Christmas and Summer parties can be a big deal. We also put on quarterly events and have a social committee organising things like sports events, music gigs and after-work meet-ups!

Office 🏰

Bud’s new office is a newly renovated space, specifically designed to our needs. Cool interior, breakout spaces, professional meeting rooms, brand new kitchen, loads of bike storage and a shower room for our part-time athletes. As our office is in The Bower WeWork there are also tons of events, not to mention, beverages on tap.
