Your responsibilities

For further development and expansion of our successful business, Raisin is looking for highly motivated, smart and driven engineers to complement our team in Berlin. As a Front-End Developer here, you will be working on our online banking system together with an international team of top developers from companies including Google and Facebook.

• Implementing new features for our Online Banking System
• Working on a online banking application with JSP, Java, JavaScript / jQuery, CSS / LESS
• Redesigning and rebuilding our legacy web UI with modern technologies (e.g. Vue.js, React.js, ES8, Webpack/Gulp, LESS/SASS)
• Guiding features through implementation, test, refinement and launch
• Working closely with our product and design team
• Actively participating in an agile and collaborative scrum process

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent practical experience in the field of front-end development
• Good knowledge and experience with Java and latest JavaScript
• Good knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g. Vue.js/ReactJS, HTML5 APIs, CSS with LESS/SASS, Webpack/Gulp)
• You are comfortable writing testable code, designing test scenarios and implementing tests for new features
• Some experience with CMS systems
• Understanding, dissecting and influencing business requirements in order to find a suitable technological solution is one of your core competencies
• Good understanding and practical experience in working in an agile environment using test-driven development and continuous integration
• Writing clean, maintainable and well documented code comes naturally – we strongly believe in Uncle Bob
• You are comfortable with very open and challenging code and architecture discussions
• You are an open-minded and creative team player willing to continue creating our culture
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• Good English communication skills
