THE ROLE

We are looking for an adaptable, hungry and proven Operations and people manager. The role will be working directly with the management team and will be responsible for:


  1. Operationalising company processes:
    -
    Develop and optimise businesses processes and systems so that the company and staff can operate in an efficient and structured manner e.g. CRM system management, email management, logistics, defining store open/close processes
    - Analyse data to forcast demand, system and staffing requirements
    - Oversee retail operations policies and procedures and ensuring development is being driven across stores

  2. Championing the customer experience and journey:
    - Ensure customer experience journeys are optimised and consistent across the company
    - Maximise customer engagement scores (e.g. NPS) and minimise poor customer experiences/ complaints/ issues etc
    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management to execute on customer acquisition strategies

  3. Managing customer service staff:
    -
    Provide fit for purpose training, support and tools for problem solving
    - Maintain high levels of staff engagement and provide a supportive growth culture
    - Maximising staff productivity and utilization

  • 3+ years experience in Retail Management and Operations and 1/2 years of people management
  • Exposure to health, dental beauty and consumer goods a bonus
  • Superior communication and Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions overlaid with sound business acumen
  • Proven ability to coach and develop teams to drive sales
  • Passion for Business Development & Growth
  • Experience working in a startup and/or fast paced environment a big plus
  • Can do attitude with a high level of initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised, excellent time management and the ability to multitask
