To support the wider growth and strategic objectives of the business, we are looking for a number of Strategy Associates who will be focused on financial planning, strategic reviews, annual and long term business planning and special projects, such as new ventures, capital raisings and international expansion.

You will report to the Head of Strategy and work closely with the rest of the Starling leadership team, including the CEO/founder.

This job will be hugely varied and you will have to be comfortable getting involved in all aspects of the bank. You will assist in providing analysis of firm-wide initiatives, including strategic reviews, annual and long term business planning, new ventures and capital raisings.

This role would offer you the unique experience of working at the top level and seeing the inner workings of one of the most exciting next generation banks.

  • 3-7 years of experience typically in a top-tier consulting firm or bank
  • You must have relevant financial services experience
  • You must have, either a fully-qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent), CFA or MBA
  • Highly proficient in financial modelling and financial analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously and function well in a fast-paced startup environment
  • High level of initiative and responsibility with a dedication to quality and attention to detail
  • Demonstrable interest in Fintech and growth businesses
