Team/ Department Overview

The Blenheim Chalcot IT team provides a wide variety of technology solutions and support to our companies as well as 3rd party clients. We believe we have created a fantastic environment to constantly learn new skills and get exposure to the evolving, brand new systems/ processes being adopted by our startups.

Our focus is on providing solutions for growth and providing technologies that would not normally be available to companies within the SME sphere. Our IT team are technically hands on with a wide range of business skills and experience which allows us to provide solutions and support that are beyond the normal scope of similar sized IT departments.

As the systems administrator you can expect to learn the protocols and processes that the IT team operate with, and undertake various tasks as deemed appropriate by the members of the IT team. The aim will always be to provide the effective delivery of IT services to the BC group of companies.

What our team needs from you

Essential:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 R2)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active directory
  • Microsoft Office 365 expeirence

We are also looking for:

  • Previous experience as a support analyst/2nd line support analyst
  • Strong customer service focussed individual
  • Proactive attitude
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 7/8//10)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2013 / 2016
  • Knowledge of basic network hardware and protocols
  • Ideally some exposure to of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Exposure to AV solutions & monitoring solutions
  • Be aware of Service Level targets and monitor performance against them
  • Maintain the accuracy of the Knowledgebase by updating existing articles and contributing new documentation where appropriate
  • Identify and document potential service improvements with Service Desk, in accordance with ITIL best practice
